Anoint the Hands of the Long Toiling

He lost a bit off of his finger before the war and still managed to get to fight long enough to loose the whole arm. Afterwards he began telling at as a series of consecutive forshortenings of the limb. He lost a finger, then the hand to the wrist, arm up to the elbow before losing it entirely to some friendly shrapnel. In some more elaborate versions a thin slice of limb as off a meat slicer was extracted as debt repayment in some mob related activity.
